- Preparation and Review of the Ministry's Strategic Plan
- Preparation of comprehensive Annual Plans
 
- Preparation of Annual Budget
 
- Monitoring and Evaluation of annual Budgets and Plans
- Coordination and facilitation of the Ministry's participation in all parliamentary matters
 
- Preservation and analysis of data related to Foreign Policy
- Analyse other National Policies and how they impact on Foreign Policy
- Formulation, development and analysis of Policy
 
- Liaison with Permanent Secretary and    Undersecretary  reviewing cabinet papers related to policy issues
- Conduct research on topical issues related to enhancing budget allocations
-Coordinate  formulation of performance indicators to boost the ministry's allocations
 
Coordinate efforts aimed at moving the Ministry to a productive sector to enhance budget allocations to boost implementation of Uganda's foreign policy

H.E. STEPHEN MUBIRU PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO H.E FRANK-WALTER STEINMEIER, THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, 27th-September 2022

H.E. Stephen Mubiru, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Federal Republic of Germany presented his letter  of credence to H.E  Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.
 
The function took place at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin on 22nd August 2022  and was attended by dignitaries from both Uganda and Germany.
