KCCA Jennifer Musisi promises to work with diplomatic corps in developing the city.

The Executive Director of KCCA, Ms. Jennifer Musisi has promised the diplomatic Corps accredited to Uganda a harmonious working relationship in the process of redeveloping the city. She made the promise when meeting Ambassadors and High Commissioners at MoFA to brief them on the key developments taking place in the city. 

In her presentation, the ED told the diplomats that in the three years of its management, KCCA has greatly improved services in the areas of revenue collection, infrastructural development, social welfare as well as improving the image of the institution.

In a Q&A session, the diplomats raised concerns ranging from security, noise, pollution, congestion as well as lack of enough recreational facilities. In her response, the ED asked the diplomats to always report any specific concerns to KCCA for redress, reiterating that KCCA is ready to engage the diplomats to share ideas on how we can transform Kampala into a world class city.

The briefing was attended by among others the Dean of the diplomatic Corps His Excellency Patrick Edwards who led the diplomats, KCCA as well as MOFA officials.
