President Museveni in Rwanda for NCIP, Liberation anniversary

President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in Rwanda for a series of programmes starting this morning with a key address at the Pan African Youth Conference currently taking place at Serena Hotel Kigali under the theme, "Beyond Liberation movements Sharing Our Future". 

The President was seen off this morning at Entebbe International Airport by Vice President, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, Security Minister, Muruli Mukasa, the Head of Public Service, John Mitala and the Commander of Air Forces Maj. Gen. Sam Turyagyenda among other Officials.  In Rwanda, he was received on arrival by the Rwanda Local Government Minister James Musoni and Uganda's Foreign Affairs Minister who is also the UN President Sam Kutesa at Kigali International Airport.

President Yoweri Museveni is later scheduled to join\r\nother regional heads of State from Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan for the Northern Corridor\r\nIntegration Project (NCIP) to review the progress made on implementation\r\nof the directives given during the 5th Northern Corridor Integration\r\nProjects Summit held in Nairobi in May and to provide direction on deepening\r\nregional integration. The Northern Corridor Infrastructures Project is an\r\ninitiative of East African leaders aimed at fast-tracking regional development\r\nthrough joint infrastructure, trade, political and economic integration.

While in Kigali, the President will also attend Rwanda's 20th National Liberation Day and the Women parliamentary conference in Kigali.
