COMMUNIQUE OF THE SECOND SESSION OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC, SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL COOPERATION BETWEEN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA

On May 21-23, 2018 Moscow hosted the Second Session of the Intergovernmental Russian-Ugandan Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation to further strengthen and develp economic, scientific and technical cooperation between the Russiian Federation and the Republic of Uganda.


The Russian side was headed by the Co-Chairman of the Russian Party of the Commission, Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, H.E. Alexey Volin.


The Ugandan delegation was led by the Co-Chairman of the Ugandan Party of the Commission, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (International Cooperation) of the Republic of Uganda, Hon. Henry Okello Oryem.

UGANADA HANDS OVER 70 EX-23 COMBATANTS TO DRC, 27th-February 2019

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of Government of the Republic of Uganda on 26th Febuary 2019, facilitated the repatriation of over 70 EX-23 Combatants  and 10 dependants to  the Government of the Republic of the Democratic of Congo. The Ceremony took place at Entebbe International Airport.
