In protecting and promoting the above constitutional and national objectives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs acts in concert and consultation with other key players and stakeholders in Government, so as to maximize benefits from the harmonization of Uganda’s foreign and domestic objectives. In a further integration of the foreign policy objectives above and the mission of the Ministry, it becomes obvious the Ministry of Foreign Affairs acts as the executive agent of Government on domestic policy and a projector of Uganda’s interests on the international plain. |
Vision Statement
The Ministry’s vision is of Uganda as a secure nation with a prosperous people.
The Mission of the Ministry is to promote and protect Uganda’s national interests abroad.
