Other hotels include Imperial Royale, Hotel Africana, Grand Imperial Hotel, Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort Hotel, Speke Hotel, Fairway, Protea, Metropole, Speke Resort Munyonyo and others. A range of hotels in Kampala have been identified for accredited delegations. All
accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the individual and /or the accredited media organisation.
Courtesies & Hospitality
Heads of delegations from Member States will be assigned with one Liaison Officer each, who will be their liaison with the host Government;
· A protocol officer will also be attached to each delegation to coordinate protocol services. Delegates are requested to inform their protocol officers their departure details before 26th July, 2010.
· Help desks will be located at all major venues to supplement the liaison officers;
· The Government of Uganda will provide two dedicated vehicles for each delegation, one saloon car for Head of Delegation one station wagon for other members of the delegation. This courtesy will be from 19th – 27 July 2010.
