Advise to Ugandans traveling to and from South Sudan - Juba

The situation in The Republic of South Sudan remains tense but calm. The \r\nAirport, main highways and the official border points with Uganda have \r\nnow been opened. In addition, some businesses have resumed normal \r\noperations. However, the Government of Uganda advises its citizens travelling to \r\nSouth Sudan to seek guidance from a team of Ugandan officials at the \r\nborder points who will liaise with their counterparts from the Republic \r\nof South Sudan, ensuring the safety and security of the routes, or avail\r\n security convoys to escort their vehicles.

\r\nAll Ugandans in South Sudan are requested to register their details at \r\nthe Uganda Embassy in Juba as soon as possible, to ensure that they can \r\nbe reached at all times with necessary additional information concerning\r\n their safety and welfare.
